Representatives of the New York Yiddish and Anglo-Jewish press met at a luncheon conference yesterday in the Hotel Biltmore with James N. Rosenberg, chairman of the New York drive of the $6,000,000 Allied Jewish Campaign, to discuss with him and other leaders of the campaign, New York’s quota of $2,500,000 and what methods should be adopted to insure the success of the drive here.
Peter Wiernik, editor of the “Jewish Morning Journal,” was named chairman of a newspapermen’s committee of seven, which he will appoint. This committee is to meet at frequent intervals with the leaders of the New York campaign and aid in making it a success.
The representatives of the Jewish press will meet again with Mr. Rosenberg on May 7th.
