Seven Jews charged with attempted murder on four Arabs during the riots were acquitted for lack of evidence. Three of them, however, Bergman, Getler and Bengero were given their choice of a year in jail or a fine of $240 each for keeping a revolver. A fourth, Friedlin, was sentenced to three months in prison or a fine of $50 for having a dagger in his possession.
