Attacks on the Jews continue in the streets of Bucharest but thus far none of the attackers have been arrested. Chief Rabbi Neimerower, speaking in the Senate, protested vehemently against the attack last week on Rabbi Katz who was maltreated in broad daylight.
The newspaper “Adverul” reports persistent attacks on the Jews of Galatz by the “Iron Guard”, a youth organization. Many Jews have been injured and the Jewish cemetery at Beltz has been demolished according to the Adverul”.
