Jewish Banker Kills Self, Not Elected to Directorship

Because he was not elected a director of the Berlin Municipal Bank, S. Meyer, the founder of the Berlin Workmen’s Bank and a director in the Michael Corporation, committed suicide today by shooting, himself. The son of a well-known Jewish millionaire, Meyer was the candidate of the majority party but he was defeated by the absence of a number of his Socialist friends which embittered him.
