Dr. S. M. Marcus, a noted nerve specialist, was informed by H. Didot, French Consul, that he had been awarded the medal, diploma and a membership in the French Academy of Science. Dr. Marcus, well known in Jewish medical circles here, is also a major in the U. S. Army reserve corps.
