The members of the international Wailing Wall Commission which arrived here the other day to investigate Moslem and Jewish claims to the Wall, paid an informal visit to the Wall Saturday morning, escorted by the Jerusalem District Commissioner Keith-Roach and the government official Edwin Samuel, son of Sir Herbert Samuel, former High Commissioner of Palestine. The area of the Wailing Wall was thronged with Jewish worshippers of all classes when the commissioners visited the Wall.

The members of the Commission carefully studied the approaches to the Wall, and called at the chambers of the Jerusalem Grand Mufti overlooking the pavement.
