Dr. Raphael Isaacs of the University of Michigan was, together with Dr. Cyprus Sturgess, awarded a silver medal at yesterday’s session of the American Medical Association’s convention for their joint work in developing a powder from a hog stomach, which is considered superior to liver in the treatment of pernicious anaemia. A paper on this discovery will be read during the sessions of the present convention.
