As a result of the failure of the Palestine government to approve a grant of $12,500 from the Tel Aviv municipality to the Hadassah Hospital, Hadassah headquarters today announced that it would be compelled to close the surgical department of the hospital after July 10. The first half year’s balance sheet of Tel Aviv shows a surplus of $10,000.
