Judge Isadore Harris, a member of the Municipal Court of San Francisco country, today was promoted to the superior bench by Governor C. C. Young to fill a vacancy caused by the death of Judge Frank J. Murasky.

Judge Harris has practiced law in California for many years and was appointed to the bench several years ago. He and Governor Young were classmates at the University of California.

Judge Harris is the second Jewish member of the bench in San Francisco, the other being Judge Sylvain Lazarus of the Municipal Court.
