The sum of $25,000 has been willed to the Histadruth, the General Federation of Jewish Labor in Palestine, by Miriam Goldschlag of this city, who died recently in a hospital in Frankfurt-am-Main, Germany. Mrs. Goldschlag, who was active in the Hadassah and in the Poale-Zionist “Pioneer Women’s Organization,” expressed in her will a desire that the money should go for the founding of a cooperative for working women in Palestine and that the fund should be supervised by David Bloch, former Socialist mayor of Tel Aviv.

Mrs. Goldschlag, who immigrated to this country from Poland, visited Palestine a few years ago in the company of her husband, Nathan Goldschlag, of the Rosedale Engineering Corporation. While on her visit, she took an especial interest in the lot of the Jewish working girls in Palestine.
