Judge Lewis Optimistic About Palestine’s Future

Optimism regarding the future of Palestine and praise for the leaders of the Jewish Agency was expressed by Judge William M. Lewis, Grand Master of the Independent Order B’rith Sholom and one of the four national chairmen of the Allied Jewish Campaign, on his return from Berlin and London. While in Berlin, Judge Lewis attended the sessions of the Administrative Committee of the Jewish Agency.

“Palestine has become an integral part of the Jewish mind,” Judge Lewis declared. “What is perhaps of equal importance is that the outside world is recognizing this fact. I feel more optimistic about the future of Palestine than I ever did before. With such men as Felix M. Warburg, Dr. Cyrus Adler, Herr Wasserman, of Germany, to mention only a few, we have reason to feel confident that the work of Palestine upbuilding is in proper hands.”
