Definitely allying the Austrian Heimwehr with the Hitlerite program of anti-Semitism, Dr. Franz Hueber, Austrian minister of justice and a leader of the Heimwehr, declared at a meeting in Klagenfurt yesterday that the “Jews are also poisoning the atmosphere in Austria,” according to a report in the Socialist organ, Arbeiter Zeitung.

Dr. Hueber, in identifying the Heimwehr with the Hitlerist aims, is reported to have said, “Immigrant Galicians as well as Socialists are responsible for all of Austria’s misery. Therefore it is the most important aim of the Heimwehr movement to remove these alien element. It is not the Jewish question which has divided us from Hitler but merely a matter of tactics.”
