Harry Snell, M. P., Chairman of the Labor Party in the House of Commons, who was to have been the guest of honor at a mass meeting tonight at Mecca Temple, has been released from his promise to speak under the auspices of the Zionist Organization. In view of the issuance of the Simpson report criticizing the Jewish agencies severely, it was felt by the Zionist Organization that Mr. Snell would be placed in an embarassing position.

The meeting will take the form of a solemn protest against the Simpson report and the statement of the British Government. Prominent Zionists will speak.
