Upon inquiries the Jewish Telegraphic Agency made today at the offices of the World Zionist Executive concerning the report that Justice Brandeis has been offered the presidency of the World Zionist Organization, it was declared that although no steps were yet taken regarding the presidency from which Dr. Chaim Weizmann resigned last week as a protest against Great Britain’s new Palestine policy, negotiations are probably going on in America to have Justice Brandeis assume the leadership.
