Enlargement of the scope of the Emergency Employment Committee was announced today by Seward Prosser, chairman of the committee. It will now include all the principal family welfare organizations in Manhattan and the Bronx and will cooperate with those of Brooklyn, Queens and Richmond in handling their unemployment problems. The new plan promises cooperation with Brooklyn agencies such as the United Jewish Aid Society. A previous meeting insured the cooperation of the Jewish Social Service Association which operates in Manhattan and the Bronx.
