The organization of a national federation of Jewish women’s organizations is being contemplated, according to an announcement made yesterday by Mrs. David E. Goldfarb, president of the Federation of Jewish Women’s Organizations of Greater New York, at the annual meeting of the organization held at the Community House of Congregation Emanu-El. The call has gone out to Jewish women’s organizations throughout the country, inviting delegates to attend a luncheon conference on Monday, January 26th, at the Women’s Town Club.

The principal speaker at the annual meeting was the Rev. Dr. N. Pereira Mendes, minister emeritus of the Spanish Portuguese Synagogue, who spoke on “Geneva and Jewish Thought and Aspirations.” Following Dr. Mendes’ address the annual election of officers and directors took place in which the following were chosen: Mrs. Max L. Levenson, honorary president-elect; Mrs. Henry Bodenheimer, honorary vice-president; Mrs. David E. Goldfarb, president; Mrs. Isaac Kubie, first vice-president; Mrs. A. L. Bretzfelder, 2nd vice-president; Mrs. A. J. Davidson, 3rd vice-president; Mrs. Samuel Leuin, 4th vice-president; Mrs. Leon Kamaiky, treasurer; Mrs. Edna Crane, corresponding secretary; Miss Carrie Wise, recording secretary.
