Davar and Haaretz, two leading Hebrew dailies, joined today in demanding energetic action and results in the way of a vigorous Palestine drive from American Zionist leaders. Davar, the labor organ, attacks the leadering of Judge Julian W. Mack and Jacob De Haas in the administration of American Zionism.

“They must start energetic activity at once,” says the Davar, “if they do not wish a revival of the war for a change of administration. Under the leadership of Louis Lipsky the administration defaulted here and there, but it recognized its duty toward Palestine.”

Haaretz similarly deplores the inactivity of American Zionists at the present moment. It urges the Palestine delegation now in America to speak “face to face” with American Jewry.

“Ussishkin’s campaign for the Keren Kayemeth is insufficient to prevent fatal upheavals in Palestine,” says Haaretz, in commenting on the reception being given here to M. M. Ussishkin, world president of the Jewish National Fund.
