A charge that the Jews are responsible for the present financial manipulations in France is made today in the unofficial Catholic daily newspapers “Tunisie Francaise”.
The paper threatens the Jews of France that “their action may result in a violent outbreak of anti-Semitism.” It impresses its readers with the fact that the financial complications in France are due to the intention of the Jews to compromise the catholic political leaders and to play into the hands of the Socialists by involving the present politicians of France in scandalous financial affairs. The Jews and the Socialists are identical, the paper says. Therefore, the Jews are interested to help the socialists in their efforts to discriminate against the Catholic leaders of the present Government.
