Beginning of New Immigration Movement to Palestine Forecast at Reception to Palestine Tourists from

The present big tourist movement is the beginning of the Fifth Aliyah, ex-Deputy Farbstein, former President of the Warsaw Jewish Community, said when he presided this evening at a reception given by the Jewish Agency to the hundreds of Jewish tourists from Poland who have arrived here for the Passover pilgrimage, the Levant Fair and the Maccabiade.

The Polish Consul in Palestine, Mr. Emanuel Neumann, and Dr. Arlossoroff, members of the Jewish Agency Executive, Dr. Hantke, Managing Director of the Keren Hayesod, and Rabbi Ostrowski on behalf of the Vaad Leumi, addressed the gathering, and Dr. Schmorak, the President of the Zionist Organisation in Galicia, Mr. Levenfish, representing the Polish-Palestine Chamber of Commerce, and Mr. Wagman, editor of the Jewish Polish-language daily “Nasz Przeglad”, replied on behalf of the tourists, expressing their admiration of the Jewish achievements in Palestine.
