The appeal against the verdict of the Vilna court which sentenced Shmuel Wulfin, Jewish student, to two years imprisonment on charges of having participated in the events which led to the death of the Christian student, Stanislaw Waclawski, who was killed during the anti-Semitic riots in Vilna last November, was postponed.

The appeal against the verdict was scheduled to be heard on August 26th. It is believed that the hearing will probably be held on September 1st.

Sentence was imposed on Wulfin on April 19th. The verdict aroused widespread indignation among the Jews.
