Meier Grossman, vice-president of the World Union of Zionist Revisionists, today informed the congress of the union now in session here that he would bend every effort to destroy the separate Revisionist Union within the World Zionist Organization, if the latter rendered impossible independent Revisionist work.

Mr. Grossman referred to the action taken by the recently concluded sessions of the Zionist Actions Committee, where the Revisionists were recognized as a separate union, and a motion, to add to this recognition the stipulation that the Revisionists are enjoined from conducting separatist political work was defeated.

The Actions Committee, did however, adopt a resolution reaffirming the constitutional proviso that all members of the organization are subject to its rules.

Mr. Grossman’s address was interpreted as an attempt to pacify the two wings within the Revisionist union, the secessionists and the shekel payers.

He stated that it is, however, possible for the secessionists to re-enter the Zionist organization if a fully Zionist development is carried out.

In any event, the entrance of the Revisionist Union as a separate union within the Zionist organization, is subject to the decisions of the world conference, he said.

Revisionist shekel payers are sitting in Zionist organization offices not as foreign observers, but as men exercising control and seeking control of the power of the Zionist Organization and Zionist funds, Mr. Grossman stated.

Revisionists, he emphasized, support only such funds whose administrations are controlled by them.

Mr. Grossman called for the ratification of the agreement reached at a special conference in Calais, last year, whereby the organization was left to individual discretion.
