At a joint convention of the Canadian Pharmaceutical Association and the American Pharmaceutical Association held here, Dr. Louis Gershenfeld, Prof. of Bacteriology & Hygiene and Director of the Bacteriological and Clinical Chemistry Laboratories at the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science, was unanimously elected Chairman of the Historical Section of the American Pharmaceutical Association which is holding its 80th Annual Meeting.
Dr. Gershenfeld is well known in bacteriological, chemical, and scientific circles. He is secretary of the Philadelphia B’nai Brith Council, a member of the General Committee of District Grand Lodge No. 3 B’nai Brith and prominent in communal circles in Philadelphia.
