St. Louis Federation Postpones Drive

Three hundred delegates representing 60 Jewish organizations participated in a United Jewish Conference of Organizations at the Chase Hotel in preparation of the Jewish Federation Campaign for over $400,000 Although 450 workers have been mobilized by Leo Fuller, who assumed the leadership in the campaign, Aaron S. Rauh, Chairman of the Jewish Federation, announced to the conference that the Federation of Jewish Charities at a meeting held earlier in the day voted to postpone the campaign which was to have been officially launched October 23rd.

Following his address the conference endorsed in principle the proposed joint campaign for funds of major relief agencies, in which the Federation is to share.

This is the first time in the history of St. Louis that the Jewish Federation is to be included in united campaign.
