Addressing more than a 1,000 persons at the 35th annual meeting and Succoth harvest festival at the National Farm School here, Herbert D. Allman, of Philadelphia, president of the School, declared that prosperity will return to America when sensible co-operation, faith in our country and one another is practiced, and when honest and fearless leaders, men of superior intelligence, capable of framing sound public policies, are drafted into public service.

Mr. Allman made a plea for more generous support of the school at a time when encouragement is urgently needed for the preservation of the schools as a character-building institution.

Judge Theodor Rosen, of the Municipal court, Philadelphia, was another speaker and emphasized to the farm school students the fact that there is no distress on the farms today as there is in the cities.

Cletus L. Goodling, dean of the farm school, in submitting his annual report, declared that in his opinion farm prosperity and conditions in general are improving today.

The following officers of the school were re-elected: President, Herbert D. Allman, Philadelphia; vice president, Joseph H. Hagedorn of Philadelphia, who is director of property and supplies of that city; treasurer, Isaac H. Silverman, of Philadelphia.

New members elected to the board of directors were Dr. Julian B. Feibelman, Frank G. Biswanger, Judge Theodore Rosen, James Weintraub and Emanuel Workman.

Honorary members of the board who served for ten years and who were re-elected were Philip S. Sterling, Leon Rosenbaum and Roy A. Heymann.
