The Jewish Center here is in danger of closing down in view of the resignation of Ben Dizik, its president and the refusal of any other director of the organization to take over the office of president.

The resignation of Mr. Dizik was followed by the resignations of the secretary and that of the directorate.

The Center is in financial difficulties. It has a deficit of $3,000 while its employes have not received salaries for three months. The employes are now demanding pay, threatening to leave if this request is not granted.

An emergency committee has been formed to deal with the situation. Doubt is expressed however that this committee will be able to meet the crisis.
