The Yiddish Art Theatre, under the direction of Maurice Schwartz will present “The Life of Mr. Lederer,” a new play by Sholom Ash, this evening.
Mr. Schwartz plays the principal role in the play which is a study of American Jewish Life.
Funeral services were held in Newark, N. J., for Dr. Emanuel D. Newman, a leading dermatologist and member of an old Jewish family.
He was a brother of former County Prosecutor Jacob L. Newman who heads the recently organized New Jersey Regional Branch of the Union of American Hebrew Congregations.
