On Sunday, December 4th the Federation of Jewish Philanthropies launched its annual campaign to raise the sum of $330,000 which is needed for the support of some 750 destitute families as well as the various institutions which form the constituent societies of the Federation.
Ten percent of the Jewish population in Montreal are being cared for, in one or more ways, by the Federation of Jewish Philanthropies.
