Four Nazis Held for Trial in Vienna Bombing; Boycott Shows Signs of Abating

The anti-Jewish boycott offensive conducted by the Nazis, in an effort to prevent Christmas trade from benefiting the Jews, shows some indications of abating today.

Four members of the Nazi Storm Troops have been submitted for trial for complicity in connection with the bombing of Jewish department stores in Vienna last Saturday.

The Archbishop of Vienna today ordered the removal of anti-Jewish boycott appeals which had been posted in several churches in his parish by young Catholics. The Archbishop’s intervention followed representations by the Jewish Community.

Nazi posters were confiscated in the provinces at the order of the public prosecutors of the districts.
