Two uniformed Nazis yesterday attacked an aged store keeper on Bismarckstrasse, one of Berlin’s principal streets.

The Nazis entered the store and demanded that cigarettes be given to them without charge. When the proprietor refused, they fell upon him and beat him up. A son rushed to the defense of the aged Jew. One of the attackers escaped. The incident assembled a crowd which brought about the arrest of the second Nazi.
