Acting on the report that the railways and roads are crowded with refugees, including numerous Jews who are seeking to cross the German frontier into Austria, the Austrian government has issued orders for the strict control of the Austrian German frontier, for the purpose of “preventing the entry of undesirable foreigners.”

The Austrian press announces that regulations regarding asylum to foreigners will be tightened by the government in order to meet the situation which is developing.

According to the reports the majority of the so-called refugees who are allegedly leaving Germany are non-citizens of Germany, who are departing from the country because they fear that measures will be taken against them by Chancellor Adolph Hitler.
