Two impressive meetings were held here yesterday under the auspices of the Central Union of German Citizens of the Jewish Faith where speakers warned that the Nazi government plans to deprive the Jews of their rights, once it has established itself in power.

This warning was uttered by Dr. Bruno Weil and Rabbi Meer Hildesheimer.

Both declared themselves against the advice which is being received from non-Jewish quarters and from some Jewish groups as well, to abandon the struggle for equal rights and to accept status as a minority group.

The Central Union of German Citizens of the Jewish Faith, they declared, is determined to maintain a fast hold on the emancipation of the Jews and never voluntarily return to the ghetto.
