The two leading opponents of immigration on the House Immigration Committee are no longer on that Committee, but have been transferred to other committees.

The two restrictionists in question are Congressman Jenkins of Ohio, and Congressman Green of Florida. They have always consistently opposed any liberalization of the immigration laws. They will be replaced by more liberal members.
