Rabbi Eugene Blachschleger, for the last four years assistant to Rabbi E. N. Calisch at Beth Ahabah Synagogue, Richmond, Va., has accepted a request to become leader of Beth Or Congregation here.
Rabbi Blachschleger won his rabbinical degree from Hebrew Union College in 1927, and his M.A. at the University of Richmond last year. He is president of the Religious School Teachers’ Association of Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia.
