More than 300 persons witnessed the ground-breaking ceremonies here for the new, two-story brick Machzikay Hadath Synagogue, to be Seattle’s seventh Jewish house of worship. Rabbi Baruch Shapiro, Seattle spiritual leader for more than twenty years, is head of the congregation.
