Ridders Do Not Control the Seattle Times

The Ridder Brothers, New York publishers, do not own the controlling interest in the Seattle Times of Seattle, Wash., which is sponsoring the Whiteshirt Corps, as reported Tuesday, Victor Ridder informed the Jewish Telegraphic Agency. Col. Clarence B. Blethen, Mr. Ridder stated, has majority control of the publication and is in charge of its management and editorial policies.
