Governor Joseph B. Ely of Massachusetts, Acting Mayor McGrath of Boston, Superintendent of Police Michael E. Crowley, Attorney General Joseph B. Warner and other civic leaders here have signed the petition to President Roosevelt asking him to act to end the persecution of the Jews in Germany. The signatures were obtained by a committee representing Amos Lodge of the B’nai B’rith which is circulating the petition nationally and is seeking a million signatures.
