The local Jewish community has taken steps to call to account those thought responsible for the publication of insulting assertions against the Jews made in an article which appeared in the Russian Gazette, local monarchist paper. In the article the Jews are accused of causing all the revolutions and upheavals of the world, while Brazil public opinion is exhorted to be forewarned against the impending Jewish threat.
