The Jews of the whole world were urged by Felix M. Warburg to unite in the fight against “Hitler, the beastly foe, and his poisonous prejudice.”
Mr. Warburg spoke yesterday at a meeting in the local Jewish Community Center, to start the sale of tickets for the concert to be held Sept. 28 at the county center, the proceeds to be turned over to he Joint Distribution Committee, for the relief of the German Jews. Mischa Elman, violinist; Hulda Lashanska, soprano, and Ossip Gabrilowitsch, pianist, will appear on the program.
