The Jewish Choral Society of the Y.M.H.A. at 92nd Street and Lexington Avenue, which is to present Beethoven’s “Engedi” for chorus and orchestra some time in January with a noted group of soloists under the direction of A. W. Binder, is now receiving new members in both the male and female sections of the chorus.
Auditions are to be held on Tuesday evening, September 19, between 7:30 and 9 P. M. Other information with reference to the activities of the Choral Society may be secured by applying in person or by mail to the director.
