Berlin Releases Palestinian, Jailed for Resenting Slur

The agronomist, Stern, a Palestinian citizen, was arrested on a train while visiting Germany. His passport was returned to him after official intervention. He left Germany immediately. Stern was arrested because he replied to anti-Semitic remarks made by a man in the train. The man happened to be a Nazi official and caused Stern’s arrest. Stern was released after intervention by the British Consul.
