The recommendation that active Nazi agitators in this city be attired in “the very distinctive blue shirts supplied at the State’s expense at San Quentin” and divested of their brown shirt uniforms, is made in an editorial denouncing the “Bund des Freund des Neue Deutschland,” pro-Hitler organization, published in the Los Angeles Examiner.

Declaring that any active unit working against the interests of the United States government should be dispersed, the editorial says: “The Friends of Germany are not friends of America if they are working for Germany in America. They are aliens and traitors.”
