An official memorandum was submitted yesterday directly to the German government by the Reichsvertretung der Deutschen Juden, the All-German Jewish representative body.
The memorandum gives a clear picture of economic suffering the German Jews are undergoing as a result of the many anti-Jewish measures adopted by the Nazi regime, and asks the Nazi government for clarity as far as the legal status of the Jews is concerned.
This is the first time that such a memorandum has been ordered by a representative Jewish group directly to the Nazi government.
