Dr. Shalom Spiegel of the faculty of the Jewish Institute of Religion has been promoted to the post of Professor of Hebrew Language and Literature, the board of trustees of the Institute announced.
He has been associate professor of Hebrew and acting librarian in the Institute. Dr. Spiegel is the author of “Hebrew Reborn” and of numerous articles on the subject in scholarly journals.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
