She gave several instances of rites practiced among sects of Chinese closely paralleling ceremonies among orthodox Jews.
A world traveler, Madame Metzelthin declared she has found in no other land a philosophy and mode so closely akin to that of the universal Jew as exists in China.
Describing a trip to the Tibetan Plateau, she said it was there she saw the greatest likeness between certain Chinese and Jews. She found there a scroll in Hebrew and two huge stones with Hebrew inscriptions.
