Although there have been conflicting reports issued from the headquarters of a Century of Progress as to whether or not the Hall of Religion will be opened during the second year of Chicago’s World Fair, the Jewish exhibit will be ready again to be seen by the thousands of visitors who will come to the city.
The exhibit in its entirety has been moved over to the beautiful home of the Jewish People’s Institute of Chicago. A few of the museum pieces which were loaned to the exhibit by private individuals have been returned. The majority of the rare pieces of Judaica, however, came from the museums of the Jewish People’s Institute. The ten beautiful panels painted by A. Raymond Katz and other parts of the exhibit have been given to the JPI.
