The annual session of the East European members of the Actions Committee of the World Zionist Organization and the administrative committee of the Jewish Agency for Palestine took place here today. Polish, Czechoslovakian, Austrian and West Galician members of the two committees were present at the meeting.
The principal speaker at the conference was Professor Selig Brodetzky, member of the executive of the Jewish Agency. Professor Brodetzky, who spoke for several hours, dwelt chiefly on the Palestine immigration situation and upon recent negotiations with Fligh Commissioner Sir Arthur Grenfell Wauchope and the Colonial Office in London. Professor Brodetzky criticized sharply exaggerated and pessimistic press reports on the situation in Palestine.
