Henri Rose, nine-year-old Detroit Jewish boy pianist, will appear as soloist with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra in the Young People’s Concert on Saturday, January 20.

Henri studied during the past two years with Dr. Mark Gunzburg. He began his studies at the age of three, under direction of his mother, and had many able teachers. For a time he studied under the tutelage of Mme. Vengerova of Philadelphia.

Another young Jewish pianist of Detroit to be honored is eleven-year-old Dorothy Fishman, who appears as the weekly Saturday piano soloist on Station WEXL of Royal Oak.
