The local Franch Canadian daily Le Devoir has openly espoused the cause of anti-Semitism and is using scare headlines in an attempt to organize a boycott against the Jews.
Quoting printed material of the Canadian Jewish Congress, the paper demands: “If the Jews organize for mutual defense why cannot the French Canadians do the same?” The documents of the Congress, appeal for funds and a “confidential” circular describing the anti-Semitic activities in Quebec are used to “prove” that the Jews are organizing against other nationalities in the province.
