Walter Frankel, maccabi runner, has covered the distance between Tel Aviv and Ness Ziona and back, the equivalent of twenty-five miles, in three hours and fifteen minutes.

The Marathon race in which Frankel competed, is the first of its kind ever held in Palestine.

A runner-up was Glassberg whose time was three hours, twenty-three minutes.]
