Gerard and Reed to Talk in Chicago

James W. Gerard, jurist, author and diplomat, and former American Ambassador to Germany, and James A. Reed, former United States Senator from Missouri. are among the list of distinguished Americans who will address the afternoon session of the all-day conference of the Chicago Committee for the Defense of Human Rights Against Nazism to be held at the Standard Club on Sunday, April 8. Dr. Paul Hutchinson is president of the committee and Salmon O. Levinson is chairman.

More than 1,000 representatives from Chicago and twenty-five middle west cities have made known their intentions to attend the conference.

Delegates from the following cities have been selected: Hammond. Gary. Michigan City. Anderson and Muncie, Indiana; Detroit, Iron River, Battle Creek, Iron Mountain and Grand Rapids, Michigan; and Peoria, Ottawa, West Frankfort, Gray’s Lake, Danville, Springfield. Aurora, Mt. Vernon and Champaign, Illinois.
